HOST HOTEL
Santa Ana Star Resort
The host hotel for the event is the Santa Ana Star Resort! The NB3 Event Committee will book and reserve your rooms with NO CREDIT CARD. Once you arrive at the Resort, you will be responsible for paying for your hotel rooms and putting your card down for your room charges. The nightly room rate we have reserved is $229/night. The cutoff date to reserve your room with the NB3 Committee is August 1st. Please click the link below to specify how many rooms you will need for your team. Our committee will send you your confirmation #'s once the rooms are booked. At this time, we just need the main contact information and the amount of rooms to reserve.

The NB3 Matchplay at Twin Warriors format will be a round robin match play.
Each team will play 36-holes on the first day and conclude with 18-holes on the final day.
NBC SPORTS will broadcast the 2024 NB3 Collegiate Matchplay Live ON GOLF CHANNEL. The coverage will begin at 5:30pm EST on October 8th & 4:30 pm EST on the 9th on Golf Channel and Peacock.
Winners will include:
-Men's team champion.
-Women's team champion
-Combined university champion
MONDAY OCTOBER 7
Shotgun practice round at 1pm - all 5 players together from each team. Teams will be in fivesomes for the practice rounds.
TUESDAY OCTOBER 8th - 36 holes
Morning Start:
Shotgun Matchplay starts in twosomes @ 7:30 am
University of New Mexico vs Stanford University (Men/Women)
New Mexico State University vs University of Texas (Men/Women)
Afternoon:
New Mexico State University vs Stanford University (Men/Women)
University of New Mexico vs University of Texas (Men/Women)
Foursomes 1 male and 1 female from same university playing with 1 male and 1 female of another university. The male and female play their own match against each other. Total points for each University will be tabulated to determine the combined university champions.
WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 9TH:
Start times are approximately 11:00 AM Single or double tee will be determined closer to the event. Any match that does not conclude on Tuesday will be completed on Wed am at 8:30 am.

University of New Mexico vs New Mexico State University (Men/Women)
1 male and 1 female from same university playing with 1 male and 1 female of another university. The male and female do not impact each other, but both are combining for the combined university championship.
How do the points work and what about ties, how they determined?

1 pt for winning your match - ½ pt when split – 0 pts for losing the match. In the event of a tie at the conclusion each coach will select one of their players to compete in a sudden death playoff
If a team only puts out 4 players, for example what happens?

They forfeit that match. Teams are allowed to bring an additional player to the event if they are needed to sub in. There will be no competition of any kind for those extra players that may travel with the teams.
Transportation
For teams arriving into ABQ airport, we have found a service that can assist with transportation logistics. Their will also offer the option of shuttle service to and from the airport as well as daily transportation to hotel and golf course in their 14 or 28 passenger vans.
This service is not just for transportation to and from the airport. They can accommodate your needs to and from the golf course and anywhere else you would like to go.
Pricing to and from the airport: $40/person
Pricing from the hotel to the golf course: $50/day
